Frequently Asked Questions

Saturday, October 14

Weather permitting, OctoBREWfest will be outside on the north side of the main building at the Nez Perce County Fairgrounds.  If the weather is bad, we’ll move it inside the red barn!

Do I need my ID?

Yes.  This event is 21 & over only.

 How many beers are there?

We’ll have 20 craft beers on tap including a cider or two and maybe a hard root beer, a few local wines, plus some Coors Light, Mike’s Hard Lemonade, etc.  A little something for everyone and we’ll have plenty to go around.

Can I bring my own food and drinks?

No.  We will have plenty of beer and a food vendor who will sell water and Coca-Cola products.  Bring a few extra bucks to buy something to eat!

How much does it cost?

Advance tickets are just $15!  They will be $20 if you choose to pay at the door.  Each token is good for a sample of beer or wine.  Additional tokens are $1 each.

Where can I buy advance tickets?

Advance tickets are on sale at Rosauers, Riverport Brewing, and MJ Barleyhoppers.  The ticket outlets won’t take a credit card, so please have some cash on hand.  We know it’s inconvenient, but there’s a surcharge on card transactions, and we don’t feel like it’s fair for the outlets to pay that.  Thanks for understanding!

Are kids allowed?

If your kids are over 21, then yes!  Otherwise, you’ll have to leave them home for a bit.  It’s OK….you deserve an afternoon to yourself!

Will there be a place to sit?

Yes. Even if the event moves inside the red barn, we’ll have big tents for shelter with lots of tables and chairs underneath.

What if I don't like micro beer or wine?

It's a great opportunity to come try a few and discover some that you DO like!  We will also have some Coors Light, Mike's Hard Lemonade and Twisted Tea just in case.

What’s the deal with the Free Ride Home?

We are providing FREE RIDES anywhere in the LC Valley! (Thanks to Vassar-Rawls, Malcom's and Ride N Style Limousine Service) Just look for the stretch hummer at the front gate.  Free rides are available from 3:30 to 6:30.  PLEASE DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE!  And be sure to tip the driver, would ya?  Driving intoxicated people around can be less than fun.  Show some love….

Do you take checks?

We don’t…. but who writes checks anymore anyway?  P1FCU will have “Buck” on site…he’s their mobile ATM.  You’ll have access to plenty of cash!
